Imagine walking into your doctor’s waiting area to discover it has been transformed into an art gallery featuring original art created by regional artists. And, imagine your surprise a couple of months later, to find the gallery has a new show for your enjoyment while waiting to see your physician!
Art de Cure’s mission is to curate art galleries in the public areas of medical practices and other business venues to both promote regional artists and to benefit a cause. Each venue selects the charity that will benefit from the sale of art showcased in their space. The Art de Cure Galleries are permanent with multiple shows and receptions scheduled each year. The galleries are open to the public and to the practice’s patients during regular office hours.
An Art de Cure gallery brings vitality and warmth to an environment. The host practice creates an engaging and welcoming environment for its patients, supports the arts in their community, and gives to a cause that they are passionate about.
Incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)(3) in 2010, Art de Cure is a 100% volunteer driven organization with a team of dedicated volunteers and artists, and a nine member Board of Directors.
Because of the dedication of our Artists, Volunteers, and Patrons of the arts, Art de Cure has given to the following charities:
- The American Diabetes Association: over $100,000
- Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association: $22,000
- Caring Together: $2,660
- Circle of Hope: $2,500
- Ronald McDonald House: $800
